Dancing with Mommy/Caregiver (Ages 2-3)

Wednesday 9:30-10:15Am/ Friday 9:30-10:15Am

 This is a fun class filled with activities that focus on developing children’s motor skills, balance and musicality. Rhythmic movements, songs, obstacles courses, scarves, musical instruments and drawing are used to keep children engaged and interested. 

Children work along their parent/caregiver throughout the class.

 

Required attire:  comfortable clothes  - NO SHOES, class is done on bare foot

Creative Ballet I (Ages 3-4)

Monday 3:45-4:30Pm/Thursday 3:45-4:30Pm/Saturday 9:45-10:30Am

 The children are taught the concepts of basic ballet movements and will learn how to move graciously; creative thinking and personal expression will be noted and developed along with musicality and rhythm.

Children will gradually learn to use various tools required to achieve personal goals as well as how to interact and respect each other.

 Required attire: Pink leotard, ballet slippers, hair up in a bun

 

Creative Ballet II (Ages 5-6)

 Monday 4:30-5:15Pm/Thursday 4:30-5:15Pm/Saturday 9:45-10:30Am

 The children are taught the concepts of beginner’s ballet technique; creative thinking and personal expression are developed and reinforced along with the understanding of music and rhythm. At this level it is introduced ballet vocabulary and the history of ballet.

Children gradually learn to use various tools required to achieve personal goals, as well as how to interact and respect each other.

 Required attire: Pink leotard, ballet slippers, hair up in a bun


Pre-Ballet (Ages 7-8)

Monday 5:30- 6:30Pm/ Saturday 12:00-1:00Pm

 This class is for 7-8 years old students that are interested in learning classical ballet. It introduces children to ballet combinations and its vocabulary and terminology.

Lessons aim to teach children to focus on given movements, to quickly respond to rhythm and to identify musical patterns in a group and individually.

Young aspiring dancers will also be able to enjoy free creative movement and dance to various rhythms.  

Required attire: Pink leotard, ballet slippers, hair up in a bun

Ballet I (Ages 8-10)

Saturday 1:00-2:00Pm

 This class is for young students that have taken ballet and are interested in continuing their learning in classical ballet. Children will work on beginner’s technique with more elaborate combinations and learn to apply the use of vocabulary and terminology. Lessons aim to teach children to focus on given movements, to quickly respond to rhythm and to identify musical patterns. Young aspiring dancers will enjoy learning about various ballets and about famous ballet dancers on the times.

 Required attire: Pink leotard, ballet slippers, hair up in a bun

Hip-Hop Youth - Youth- (Ages 6 and up)

Tuesday 6:15-7:15Pm/Thursday 6:15-7:15Pm

 “Hip-hop is a popular dance style that emerged in the streets. There are many used terminologies that describe street dances like: hip hop, breakdance, funky, urban dance, street dance, fusion). It is important to note that different teachers have different styles and create different choreographies; Every hip-hop dancer has its own personal style (freestyle), and that stands for teachers”.

 Each lesson begins with a warm up followed by learning a new combination.

 Required attire:  Comfortable dancing clothes and sneakers

 

 Tap classes offer children and teens a chance to become immersed in tap culture.  Classes focus on the fundamentals of fun and lively rhythm of tapping the feet; Movements  will work on technique, contemporary and funk tap repertory, and creative skills.

Tap history, visual pictures, jazz and funk music, deepen students' appreciation of this great American art form. 

 

 Tap Tips (Ages 4-6)

Saturday 11:00- 11:45Am

 This class will teach young children all the fun that can fit on your tips! Through rhythm, music and movement games, children develop great motor and body coordination inn every movements a very important skill towards learning tap dance.

 Required attire:  Comfortable dancing clothes and tap shoes

 

Tap Stars (Ages 7-8)

Friday 5:15- 6:00Pm

 This class starts to build the tap technique in a more focused level. Classes move in a fun, rhythmic and dynamic pace.  Children will incorporate funky moves into various combinations and learn to perfect their skills and body coordination.

Lessons build combinations with specific exercises that will help build a rich tapping repertoire.

 Required attire:  Comfortable dancing clothes and tap shoes


Tap Drill Team (Ages 9-Teen)

Tuesday 7:15-8:15Pm/ Thursday 7:15-8:15Pm/ Saturday 11:45Am-12:45Pm

 This is a class for students who have mastered beginning tap skills and are ready to learn tap repertory and take their skills to the next tap level. 

This class is very dynamic and challenging where students work to achieve proficiency to competition level.

 Required attire:  Comfortable dancing clothes, sneakers and tap shoes


 

MUSIC

View Our Music Programs

We are happy to be able to offer Music lessons as a enrichment program. Music is one of the best choices one can make for a growing child. Music accelerates growth and achievement over the whole spectrum of her development. 

Students become familiar with many genres of music and how to develop their own musical ear. Children learn with musical instruments and how to use body movements to learn vocal, rhythm and performing skills. Classes are taught in a creative, supportive and fun environment.

 

Singing with Me (Ages 4-6)

VISUAL ARTS

This class focuses on how to improve drawing skills by using various mediums and images as examples. Students will learn how to use color along with tridimensional forms and shapes and will incorporate their work along the lesson time.We encourage a class discussion at the end of each lesson. *All art materials provided
