Participant must be able to pass the pre-swim test:
Swim 100 yards front crawl, 100 yards breaststroke, and
another 100 yards front crawl or breaststroke without
stopping, being able to demonstrate rotary breathing. Also
be able to retrieve a 10 lb. brick from the bottom of the deep
end and swim on your back holding the brick with two hands
at your chest the length of the pool in under 1 minute and 20
seconds. This course will cover First Aid, CPR/AED for the
Professional Rescuer and Lifeguarding skills. First Aid and
Lifeguarding certification is good for 3 years. CPR/AED for
the Professional Rescuer certification is good for 2 years. You
MUST be at all classes to complete this course. There will be
both written test and skills tests throughout the course. Must
bring a bathing suite and towel. Drinks/snacks are encouraged.
Pocket Mask included in course fee. Cost: $350.00 per person

This course is designed for those with responsibility for
delivering emergency care or ensuring public safety. The focus
is on skills and knowledge needed for rescuers who have the
duty to act. Topics include: EMS systems, preventing disease
transmission, breathing and cardiac emergencies, adult,
child and infant CPR/AED, use of a pocket mask and BVM.
This certification is now a two year CPR/AED certification
for the first responder, healthcare providers and qualified
professionals who successfully complete the course.

For the individuals who need adult CPR training, this hands
on skills training prepares students to respond to breathing
and cardiac emergencies in adults, also using a AED on an
Adult victim of cardiac arrest. Useful take-home skill card to
reference after training is complete. Cost: $75.00

This course will give individuals the knowledge and skills
necessary to recognize and provide basic first aid care for
injuries and sudden illness until advance medical care arrives
and take over. The course does not include information on breathing an cardiac emergencies.
Participants receive a useful skill card to reference after training is complete.
